One of the most important things that you can do if you are trying to conceive, is to get yourself fit and healthy. Not only will you run into fewer problems when carrying your baby; being overweight or obese will seriously hinder your chances of getting pregnant in the first place.

It should be noted that this can go the other way as well. Being underweight will also cause problems with your fertility, as you might have problems with your ovulation cycle. It is really important to maintain a healthy and fit body, and generally look after yourself if you are trying to conceive.
